Well, I am a proud aunt, once again!! My sister-in-law had a beautiful baby boy on March 7th...weighing in at 9 lbs 15 oz and 21 inches long. He has gained the nickname Chunky Monkey, from me and the nurses at the hospital. They finally got to come home on the 13th, after having to be in the NICU for a few days due to some breathing problems. The doctors thought he was just taking longer to make the transition. But, now he's home and doing well!
While his mom and dad were in the hospital with him, I was at home with the other three kids playing "mom". I had the responsibility of getting the kids up in the morning, getting them off to school, doctors visits, picking up medicines, school confrences, breakfast-lunch-dinner, trips to the hospital to see baby brother and mom and dad....you know....all that fun stuff!! I even managed to tile a bedroom floor while I was there! It was a VERY hectic week, but we managed and everyone is doing great!
I got back home yesterday afternoon, and I am missing my babies already! (That's what I've always called my nieces and nephew...and now it's nephews) Luckily we're only 5 hours apart now, so our visits can be a little more frequent.
So, now that I have rambled on..I'm going to end this blog! I just wanted to let who ever cares, know that my nephew has arrived..since my last blog! Talk to yall soon!
